大マー、中マー、小マー

条件反射のように
日本＝フジヤマ＊ゲイシャ＊ハラキリ
シンガポール＝マーライオン
だと思うので、先ずは基本から。実は３種のマーラインオンがいるので紹介します
上写真のこいつは一番メジャーだと思う「中マーライオン」
トトロだとマイナーな青いヤツですね
で、こいつが中マーのうしろにチラリといる「小マーライオン」
Baby Mar！と誰かが言ってたので赤ちゃんという位置づけかもしれません。いっちょまえに水をスプラッシュしてます
ラスボスたる「大マーライオン」はどこにいるかというと、シンガポールのお台場的なセントーサ島にいます。ご覧のように夜はムラサキに光ってかなり怖い！
水は吐かないですが、そのかわり口が展望台になっています

うんにゃ、シンガポールでーす(’v'@)
という訳で、これから数テーマに分けて、シンガポールにて面白いと思ったテーマをこの場で紹介しようと思います
シンガポールに来た理由は、その多様性＆エネルギーに昔から興味を持っていたからでもありますが、NHKの沸騰都市にて「シンガポール-世界の頭脳を呼び寄せろ-」にて紹介されていたExcitingな環境を生で見たかったのが主たる理由です
産業は元より、国家のIdentityである文化ですら様々なBackgroundの集合体であるシンガポールが、多様性をどうmanageしているか、をテーマに見て行きたいと思います

アメリカの場合は「俺たちチームUSAだぜ！」という強いアイデンティティーで幼少のころから多様性をmanageしてると思うんだけど、シンガポールの場合はこれいかに？

I am taking off in one of “boiling cities” in the Southeast Asia expecting multicultural experiences. Here in Singapore, even though today’s temperature was over 30C and the humidity level was way too high, people on the streets were so energetic and exciting.

どうせがっかりなのだろう、と期待しなかったのが奏功したのか、マーライオンの周囲はインダストリアルな景色が広がり、かなり綺麗です

地図帳を見る事に関して

ぼくが世界の情報に触れるのが大好きになった原因の１つに、中学の地理の授業がとても面白かった事があります。その地理の先生は各国の面白グッズと共に授業を進め、世界の文化風土に触れるのがいかに面白いのか、各国の情報に触れるのがいかにexcitingであるかを教えてくれました。今ではあの時の地理の授業に大変感謝しています
という文脈で地図帳が大好であり、最近の「情報地図」が面白いので紹介です
情報地図は様々なテーマに沿って統計を地図上にプロットした構成になっており、中でもこの地図帳はアメリカ大統領選から民族紛争、パンデミック、Eco Bizまで幅広く見開き１トピックで解説していて参考になります
これからも毎年「地図帳」は確保して行きたいですね

This mash-up which mixed m-flo’s “come again” and Perfume’s “polyrhythm” caught my attention because of its perfect match of melody and fact that the part of Lisa was totally omitted! Ya, I can say that this version is certainly able to catch much more age groups than Lisa’s as the target… hum
