I could not understand why people have to play volleyball on the sand for long time. It is not practical, productive, and profitable (3P). But,, today I finally understood! Rolling around on the sand is fun ! =)

Japanese Wikipedia shows an interesting origin which is “ビーチバレーは1920年代はじめ、アメリカ、カリフォルニア州サンタモニカのビーチレジャーとして始まったのが発祥とされる。その後、ヨーロッパに伝えられ、1927年にはフランスのヌーディストビーチにおけるレクリエーションとして親しまれた。”
